Year-round camps with a therapeutic approach.
IMPACT Academy offers different camps throughout the year for children and youth with special needs. A fun and safe social setting for children of all disabilities, our camps are modeled on a therapeutic approach that uses everyday opportunities to achieve skills in the natural setting.
We provide occupational, physical, speech and music therapy on-site that can be arranged in conjunction with camp activities. Some strategies we employ within our camp structure include sensory-based activities, social stories, peer social skill building activities, social-emotional regulation, behavioral management, and social-skills training, all within a Conscious Discipline® framework.
Activities include game time, outside play, arts & crafts, dance parties, music therapy and MORE!
We are a provider for FES-UA (formally known as Gardiner), ELC, and APD.

Summer Escape
Summer Escape is a summer camp for children and teens with special needs, between the ages of 5 and 21. With a staff trained in implementing individualized support systems, we are ready to tailor the experience to ensure every child has a summer worth remembering.
The camp will have weekly sessions with options for half-days and full-days, as well as early drop-off and late pick-up. Each week will have an overall theme and daily activities include music time, arts and crafts, dance parties, and so much more!
Summer Escape is scheduled to start on May 28, 2024. Please direct any questions to [email protected].
Registering for Camps
Registering your child for camp with IMPACT Academy is easy! Simply print the registration packet, then either bring it by in person or send it via email! The first week’s payment and supply fee must be paid when submitting your registration.
Additionally, if you have a copy of a current IEP, we would also love a copy of that! Any information you can give to help us tailor your child’s experience will be welcomed. We’d love to have your child join us as we embark on a summer full of fun.
If you have any questions at all, please contact Camp Director, Alie Wallace, at [email protected]
